Welcome to Convert Units Calculator ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the app, show advertising, and honour a purchase:

On-device Preferences: Your settings, pinned conversions and recent conversions are stored locally on your device. They are never sent to us.
Device Information: Basic device information for app functionality and crash reporting.
Advertising Data: Our advertising partner may collect an advertising identifier and related data, as described in its privacy policy.
Purchase Data: If you buy Convert Pro, the store sends a purchase receipt to our purchase processor so the unlock can be validated and restored on your devices. We never see or store your payment details.

3. Local Data Storage

Every conversion is calculated on your device, and your settings, pinned conversions and recents stay there too. There is no account, no sign-in and no sync.

4. Advertising

Convert Units Calculator displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support free usage. Google AdMob may collect certain information for personalized advertising. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

On iOS devices, we request App Tracking Transparency permission before enabling personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

5. Purchases

Convert Units Calculator is free. It offers one optional in-app purchase, Convert Pro, which removes the banner ad, lifts the cap on pinned conversions and unlocks additional decimal precision. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

The purchase itself is handled by the App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to validate the receipt and to restore the unlock when you reinstall or sign in on another device. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and the store's purchase receipt; it does not receive your name, email address or payment details, and neither do we.

6. Children's Privacy

Convert Units Calculator is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Since data may be stored locally on your device, the security of this data depends on your device's security settings.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements — privacy policy
RevenueCat: For validating and restoring the optional Convert Pro purchase — privacy policy
Apple / Google: The App Store and Google Play process the payment itself; we never receive your payment details
